Spirituality

Praying before the Tabernacle as the seraphic angels before the Blessed Sacrament, living as the Sacred Family of Nazareth, we hear the voice of those in need.

We work among Hispanic families teaching catechism and helping in the parish. By the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Seraphic Sisters help in the salvation of souls inspired by the corporal works of mercy. The lives of the sisters are formed in the spiritual teachings of St. Francis and St. Claire. The formation program consists of four steps: postulancy, novitiate, juniorate, and perpetual vows consecrating their lives to God. Giving ourselves to God, as our Supreme Father, our mission is destined in different services and functions. We are involved in pastoral work, helping with the Hispanic ministry, with different groups and communities teaching Catechism, counseling, orienting, and performing acts of mercy to those in need, and doing the will of God through prayer, evangelization, and apostolic work.

Our motto is:

Adoration | Love | Eucharist | Poverty

Adoration

Adore with the seraphic love that comes down from the highest and hides in the Sacred Host.

Love

There is not a stronger love than God’s infinite love. Our love should be totally for God, not measured or conditioned. Love should be like the air we breathe.

Eucharist

We receive in the Eucharist the virtues, gifts of the Holy Spirit, protection against the snares of the Devil, and the strength necessary to be able to do the will of God at all times.

Poverty

Imitate Jesus, who was born in a stable in swaddling clothes, lived in poverty and died nude on the cross. Live in the world away from temptations and from the attachment of worldly pleasures.
